Asad
Lovely looking bats there, Salix always deliver cracking bats. What's the key differences between the different models of bats, hard to tell from photos. Middle positions/ concaving much different between the 4 models, all seem similar from photos.

Good question, i need to look at the bats to answer ur question, but i do know 1/2 of the range is flat faced
Pod - Flat Faced
SLX - Round
Torque - Flat
Supernatural - Round
Praestantia - Flat
Wasp - Round

Asad bhai I know you pick on performance and not looks but I do have to say that I am surprised by the looks of the some of these bats. I would assume Salix grade one and Players to look a lot better than this, considering their strict grading / high standards etc. Hope these are belters but as has been said about a lot of other brands grade 1's and players don't look like the grade they are rated at and what's a even bigger shock is that this is from Salix. To me almost all of them look like "Performance" grade except for a few, is this the start of when we as customers notice the impact of shortage of true grade 1's in the industry!!!

yeah I was thinking that too, gone down the line where your top grade is not the top anymore as there are more models above it...but essentially the wood is lower grade with a top grade name and price.....i could be wrong, what do i know...

Just out of interest Asad what is your primary indicator of performance? Mallet, bouncing a ball, finger tapping?

Having used multiple bats from Asad, blind buys as I live in Canada, I can tell you whatever method he uses to judge the performance works mate. Every single bat has been really really good, I think he can talk to the bats  :o

Tushar, in fairness to Asad, we took all the best Salixes, so couldn't have been much left for him!  ;)  :D
