I watched the test match in Dunedin and must say that and the Basin Reserve both played nicely though, a good contest between bat and ball!

Is there a better hitter in odi cricket at the moment. Anderson nearly got the record for the fastest 50.

That innings just earned Corey another couple of hundred thousand at the IPL auction.  He hits the ball so cleanly.  He reminds me of Nathan Astle's double century in Christchurch when he dispatched Caddick to all parts.

Corey will probably be one of the most sought after players in next month's auction.

It will be very interesting to see if he gets a top IPL contract. Decent bowler (Not so good last night) and explosive batsman without slogging. Pitch up booms straight bowl short and pulls and cuts, length balls just disappear.

Very cool seeing NZ doing so well. For so long we have struggled since the retirement of Fleming et al. I was looking at our batting line up and could safely say that I was not worried at all. Explosive openers, Williamson and Taylor to bat through, McCullum, Anderson and Ronchi to go Boom. Lets go 3 from 3 on Saturday!

Williamson is looking more and more like a class act with every game. Let's hope Anderson isn't another Richard Levi as he hits the ball seriously hard.

And he gave his man of the match winnings to my club. Great man.

Future skipper as well I think, and with Ryder back NZ looking good as always for the T20 World Cup.
