Hopefully the attached pictures are visible, first time using photobucket.
I recently visited Gary at choice willow and he was very helpful. Went through where I thought I went wrong with my last bat and the balance of it so asked for a slightly lighter pick up and higher middle which I did get (unfortunately I couldn't show him the profile of my last two bats as they were both stolen)
It weighs in at 2.9 but picks up more like a 2.7.
The one thing I was slightly disappointed with is I paid for the top of the range custom (5 of which were on show when I visited choice pre made for other customers) were a lot grainier than the one I have got, however it does have 9 straight grains which I am reasonably happy with.
I have only had a little knock about with this with a mallet and a ball and it does feel like it will ping.... Find out Sunday with my first winter net of the year ( bring on the pain Monday morning !!)
Let me know what you think guys ..
Cheers dan
