Ah ok mate, didnt realise they havent hit the shelves yet.

After a duffle to take to nets that I can fit some training kit in with as ours are ok for the essentials but need to pack cones/balls etc that are excess to the usual kit requirements.

The woodworm pro is similar but big for a duffle

The GN1000 is another one I neglected to mention that should be added to the list, but Mike1989 has singled out all our favourites, so whichever one of those you guys go for, you won't be disappointed.

Of the three bags mentioned, which do you think is the best of them? Which sells best?

Also, when watching the reviews the Salix bag had a bat cave with two slots, which had a zip covering it; whereas on the Newbery bag, is there just one slot? And does that slot zip up (didn't zip up in the video)?

Probably edging towards the Salix bag at the minute, but the Newbery looks nice. Spoilt for choice really!

Yep, just one external bat slot on the Newbery Tour, but I think it can fit two bats in.  If a bat cave is an important requirement, I would go for the Salix/M&H bags instead.  The M&H T1 is, by far, the best selling one of the lot, and probably my favourite too.  It stands up the best for me, and the suitcase handle is a massive plus, too.

I've just ordered one of Paul Aldred's bags that he has on offer at the moment (I think he has five left).  A double decker style wheelie bag at 90cm x 40cm x 40cm...it sounds promising.  My current Salix is 100cm long and is a pain to fit into most car boots!

I use the big Gray Nics Quantam. Picked it up in Lillywhites (I know, I feel dirty) and fits all of my batting/keeping gear in quite nicely. The only beef I have is that I often to have a couple of bats sticking out of the top compartment if I take more than one to a game...

My Aldred bag has arrived and it is absolutely superb.  An amazing amount of room for the dimensions, the double decker system works well and the boot end pocket is nice and roomy.  I'm not sure how many Paul has left but I would recommend wholeheartedly.  He has photos on a 'Bags' thread on the Aldred section.

Does it have separate bat compartments mate or do they just have to go in the main section?

No bat compartments, but lots of room in either of the main double decker sections.  Paul has these on at £50...an absolute steal.

Phil,

We will have to arrange a net down globe and you can see if you can fit your kit In my T2 bag

Mine only lasted a year, Liam, and then the zips went.  I think your old team mate, Jimmy, had the same problem with the same bag!

I think you're right, he did, those Tomahawks he got from you were lovely btw! mine's not holding out too badly but it  started getting holes in the end, that's mainly due to dragging it all over London though. I don't drive to games so sometimes it gets pulled/stood up/dragged for a couple of hours at a time. If I could fit all of my gear into a duffle I'd be a very happy man.

Satying on topic, has anyone ever found a duffle they could keep everything (keeping gear included) in?

Paul - i'm playing out here next season (knee injury permitting) so wil tap you up for a set up!
