the question you should be asking is how has it delaminated so quickly??

Approximately how many balls has it faced?

Why have you covered the bats stickers therefore preventing us from seeing the brand?

Delaminated bats often perform exceptionally well, shortly before exploding.

I would return this to the maker/retailer if purchased recently. The tinny/hollow/clapping sound is pretty unmistakeable for anything else.

Just wanted to keep it anonymous. Maybe some people may make an incorrect inference based on the post.

With regard to a current picture, there is nothing much to see. I've not go the bat with me so can't do it now.

It's been used in less than 10 games plus a few nets. Not a great deal of use.

Even though my Salix has delaminated it's still going great...do you think it will go soon jake? It's in pretty much the same condition since you had it as it's been used in about 5 nets since the refurb

They go quickly if left. An effective repair can prolong their life significantly. I would only worry if yours makes that odd noise over an increasingly larger area the more it is used.

Kaz has shopped with me a few times. I believe he is a student, so could well be busy with exams etc, i guess it depends on how long you've been trying to get hold of him.

he hasn't logged in(13th Aug) since I complained about it, have sent numerous emails/messages to him with no reply - I have put this on the disputes board.

It's the willow, it doesn't look as though it's faced a ball. The willow is too dry which is why this has happened - or a sudden change in temperate can cause the fibres of the willow to split apart.

Thanks for the tip.
I'll send it to the manufacturer for a service. This bat is too good for me so I don't want to waste it!

Fortunately, tonight I managed to secure a top class #2 bat so this one can take a break.
