Morgan is a very good player. Looks busy from ball 1. Imagine if they had an aggressive top 3 to get them off to a flyer. Bell did try...

Brilliant 100 by Morgan. Aussie death bowling seems a problem. Even in the India series they went for 120+ in the last 10.

Carberry, Hales, Wright. We have the players capable.

Class from Morgan take a bow.

Shame the previous coach and current coach have no clue about ODI cricket and tactics.
How was that fielding not referred. Clearly a 6

Nassers point sums it up, stick your fielders on the middle tier and make sure they aren't touching the floor when they pat it back. You cant jump from off the field of play surely?!?!

6 all day. At our ground there is a fence surrounding the field. I'm going to put two men on top of the fence and make sure they jump.

The umpire is on debut so maybe doesn't know the rules. But that's 6 all day long

I reckon they will review it in the break and give him a 6

Still think it's a par total even with Morgan's brilliant knock. Particularly with England's bowling line up. 4 bowlers who bowl around the same pace.
Makes no sense going into a odi with no front line spinner. Would rather prefer treadwell instead of bresnan.

Couple of good catches.  Maybe should have gone one handed off Finchy in the last ODI, might have stuck.

Root's stats show that he deserves a chance, however, a poor test series and a poor 2-3 one-day games suggest his chance is almost over for this tour.

I was surprised that they didn't bring Carbs in for Root and move Bell to 3.  I guess his "part-time off-spin" saved him.  If that is the case and the same team is for the next ODI, I'd suggest moving Root to 7 and everybody up one.  I like Buttler and has shown his confidence and talent, but got to balance between getting enough time and getting him in too early.  I think the 5 or 6 berth would probably be the best place for him. 7-8 is proving too low.

Just watched it fast forwarding between balls so caught up.

Lots of thoughts on cook, but interesting to see no english captain has got to 2000 runs as skip faster. And no english captain has an average even close to cook as captain. Maybe he does need to be given a chance.

Root looksoutofnick and needs a break or moving to 6 if they are picking him as a spinner. But he needs to stop reviewing. Having said that. Bell clearly tells him to as it looked high.

Bell batted good but should have got a ton.
Morgan was awesome
Buttler did well.

But if bell had stayed, we should have 330.
if we didn't throw wickets away in last two overs. We could easily being 315-320.

glad to see buttlers shot changed to six. But bet he's gutted he was out on 49.

how Come the non test players Morgan, bopara and buttler didn't look scared offjohnstone and played him well? Yet test players still looked in fear?

Mckay was (No Swearing Please). How's he get picked?
