As the title suggests.. Who is the fastest bowler you've ever faced?

For me it's probably either some Saffer pro or former Scottish captain Craig Wright!

Mohammed Akram - ex Pakistan/Surrey, he was rapid and didnt mind letting you have a short one....

So far the best was a lad from Sri Lanka who had a year at our uni team, decent pace to him! Clocked at 82mph on the bowling machine on his 'short' run up

This season I could potentially be facing either Tymal Mills or Adam Milne (or both)... safe to say it could be an interesting few innings!

mohamed zahid.. quickest ive faced by a mile.. bloke had serious wheels after being put out the ground first ball.. not what i wanted to face as a 14 year old

There was a 16 year old (now lardy and slow) who was apparently clocked by Cambridge CC at 70mph, only thing is in the nets he just bowled short...so never bothered trying to hit it!!

I faced dean headley a few years back and he was sharp but when I was a under15 I opened the batting and faced David marsters and he was horrid to face as he didn't have the control then and you never knew what was coming next got hit with a Beamer on the thigh pad hated every minute off it even the nick though slips for four

My Brother in the back garden off 18 yards, Tony Murphy (Surrey), Wayne Kidwell (SA first class), Glen Chappell at county age group level, Paul Rochier - England Amateur (The best pace bowler I've faced in league cricket).  Luckily I missed Ian Bishop in league matches (weather) and Dilhara Fernando on tour in Sri lanka (injury)!

There is a fella that plays for New Calypsonian's who play in near Enfield in London on a very suspect deck. I wouldn't have a clue exactly how fast he bowls when he feels like bowling quick but his pace plus the deck make it absolutely terrifying.

This is going to sound very strange but Luke Wright.

Not only did he consistently bowl 85mph in his early/mid 20s, he is erratic and SHORT! His bouncers were seriously nasty... If you aren't an international batsman anyway!

A close second would be Charl Willoughby - who would just aim for your ribs for 5 balls then knock you over with an inswinging yorker!
