So this is serious?! I just assumed Rowan had got REALLY drunk last night and would come on to explain once the hangover wore off...

I thought that as well I had to go back and check I hadn't missed a decimal point!

Wait, turns out colts are under 16 on the forums which makes this even more confusing...? Someone being slightly optimistic perhaps?

He has an idea, has had the courage to put it out there. Fair play to him. Good luck and hope it works out.

I appreciate eveybody;s feedback and no I wasnt drunk, bit young ;). Lekka has been a big influence in the materials as I wanted to make a keeping glove like no other on the market. But to make a glove that good, of course it is going to be costly.
Honestly I thought the discerning keeper would want the best materials possible. I thought the price was quite high, but I had to make the price high because of the materials listed above and the high manufaturing costs as I am getting this made by probably the best glove supplier.
I may have to give this a rethink and use less materials.
Thanks for the input
Rowan.

You need the right materials, not the 'best' ones. - to me, pittards serve no purpose on a keeping glove.

As suggested, I believe D3o is exclusive to GM for cricket, so I would warn you to tread carefully in this area.

Poron (I remain convinced by George from Stretton Fox until proven otherwise) isn't effective for cricket gloves, and actually has the potential to do more harm than good.

Kangaroo and aniline are some of the industry leading materials so I can't argue there. Crocodile is a cool concept, will it be supple enough? I don't have much experience, all I can think of is brightly coloured croc skin wallets on sale in South East Asian markets.

The rrp on the kookaburra players wicket keeping glove is £150 so I don't believe price should be a huge turnoff, although you will cut out a large portion of the market at this price. These gloves are far from our best sellers.

Hi, I'm new to this forum, I'm a wicket keeper!  I used Kookaburra 2013 players and The 1000's last year. Prefer the longer cut gloves, now using the GM LE as my kook sponsorship ran out, If you were going to make and go through with these, use the longer cut gloves, then I would be interested! It would spice the wicket keeping range up I think!

Go ahead with it.

Yeah I noticed that too? Even more bizarre is the guy from London who's claimed to have designed them?!

Agreed the bloke is a total prat though
