Afternoon Paul

Nice looking bats,as always
My question relates to the slight colour difference in the left hand bat, which for some reason, is crying out to me to be bought!
Why the difference to the others? Does is it pick up/weigh differently in relation to cleft sizes? And does it tap up differently?

I'm sure any differences will be slight, but was just curious

Regards

Mark

Hi,

Apologies, I have a question as well.  What are the marks on the middle bat just below the splice in the second picture?

Many thanks

It's just the natural colour of the wood itself. It knocks up just as well as the others it's just a more dense cleft. It weighs in at 3-13 in its current state.

Just natural growth marks on the cleft. They look lovely when it's all sanded and polished.

Thanks Paul,  I have these on my new bat and was just wondering. When I work out how to post pictures I'll put some up. So this type of mark doesn't affect grading?

3 absolute beauties here player grades the middle one weighs in at 3-4 in its raw handled state and the two outside ones are 3-6. These will make big bats for the average weight of 2-9/2-10 but just beautiful bats whichever weight they are designated to.

Manormanic I am afraid not on that one but I have some others waiting to be handled and pressed just as beautiful and they feel nice and light too. I can sort through them if you would like to see if they are as light as that particular one. Just drop me a line and let me know

Paul I can assure you Manormanic doesn't know meaning of the word light, 3lb minimum for this man, so just grip one of those pictured and away he goes

Mr Aldred, what's the lightest you'd make? I have seemingly an anomaly in a 2.7 Warsop that they won't replicate but I love. No one seems to do light so much?

B3 cricket made a 2.3 while I was there. Ridicolously light thing.

I'm sure aldred, and any off the sponsors will be happy to make one to your weight.

We advertise on the website down to 2-7 in our supreme and velocity range. We made a customised bat for a lovely guy over from Australia for a couple of weeks the other day at 2-6 and it was a beauty. So etching like the one in the picture at 3-4 would make a beauty at 3-6 its perfect and would leave a lot of wood in the bat.

Why won't they replicate it?
