Does anyone know for sure that M&H do, or do not, use oversized clefts?

I'm netting with it on Wednesday so I'll have to see how she goes. In my view the finishing is better than the M&H Distinction (I used to own), also the balance and pickup is excellent.

Also look wise it's definitely a Grade 1 bat. Personally, I don't think you can say the same for all the top end M&Hs I've seen. Go well though!

It seems the definition of oversized May have changed?

Use to be a cleft that allowed for a pine upto 75mm rather than 65mm from a standard cleft.

Am I wrong in thinking Millichamp, by their own admission, grade on performance, not so much on looks.

B3 has an oversized cleft that is aimed at an extreme edge size over a extreme spine size, could be the same sort of thing fort he ck22?

The ck22 i have seen have not been from what i would call a oversized cleft i believe it is the density more than oversized like the crown clefts of b3.

I have seen a few oversized clefts but not a low density oversized if that makes sense..

JB i believe was made from a normal low density cleft as the dimensions you would be able to get out of a normal cleft albee it a very light one like my crown bat.

Dave, the edges are 40mm max and the spine is 65mm.

thats a low density standard cleft. Its a big bat to have those dimensions if there is minimal concaving. Are they like the distinctions?
