Went to have a look at a new club yesterday, verrrrry village but i don't mind what level i play at i just want to play again. You know when a club just doesnt feel right though, spent the whole day watching after an invite from the captain and was ignored all day anyway :/

And clubs wonder why they can't get new players

They knew who i was too, the captain came over and said hello and that was it, he was out early and never came back over and no one else chatted at all even when i helped out putting some of the stuff away at the end of the game. Shame as its local to me but will have another look somewhere else i guess

How about Wolverhampton ?? We are there Thursday and it’s a lovely ground and has a 3/4ths ground next to it which looks nice

There are around 7 clubs in wolverhampton. Wolverhampton CC is a choice and reasonable distance and i have played against them so know few as well. Might consider that. If anymore takers please do suggest.

Thanks @RPC/Blueroom Cricket - Adie

Tempted to move clubs in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area over the winter as availability at our club has been shocking.  Want to drop a level as I am fed up of losing every week!

I am tired of our brainless captains that's why i want to move. Been stuck at number 7/8 being a batsman and after proving myself so many times. Cant waste another year waiting for things to change.

Can’t blame you. 7+ isn’t a batting slot so unless you’re bowling (in which case it’s fine) then move on and leave them to it
