Shoab68. Need your help.

Your ss ton bat looks really good.
I was after a new bat a SS or CA. I have seen a Ca Big Bang KP bat which I have been told is better then SS ton has better ping and bigger swee spot.
But I wasn't sure what to choose as I used my mates SS last season for few games and loved it. It was a limited edition gold bat. It's on this link check it out http://m.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/125-price-dropss-ton-le-gold-pro-shape-cricket-bat-160-same-profile-and-willow-as-used-by-pros/1053664875
It was a 2.9 weight bat and I normally use a 2.7 or 2.8 lightweight bat but found it a tag heavy but it's ping was brilliant.
I was thinking to get a SS bat based on virat kohlis profile and shape. I emailed the SS factory in India which I found on their website and they said they can produce me a SS players bat based on Virat Kohli profile and Spec but will be plain. Don't know of I should go for the players Kohli bat or something like you got. Have you ever dealt with anyone in SS factory and also Do you think the players bat will be better then the reserve edition.
Also they said they can only make it in. 2.10 weight which might be abit heavy but I wouldn't mind if it's top quality and how's the pick up on these Ss bats.
And any chance you can find out from the dealer in Meerut if they do bats on player specs. Thanks.

I believe BAS are very special.

SS and CA both produce good bats, to me SS are slightly better, I have plenty from both companies. Ton Reserve is special bat and i liked it very much.

If SS have replied to your mail then it is surprising because they have never replied to my numerous mails. The dealer from which I got my this Reserve can arrange a custom made from SS. You are right, they are reluctant in making a light weight bat because everyone ask for big edges with light weight.

To be honest, no idea about players bat from SS but i think you can't go wrong with Reserve Edition.

Hope it helps and feel free to ask further, if required.

I'm a big fan of the top of the range RNS Larsons too but what happened with BAS?

Few years back I bought one BAS Vampire Bat, it was very hard pressed and never opened up. I also like RNS Larson bats only downside is heavy weight.
