Maxwell has improved dramatically in the past 12 months. What's impressed me the most is that he has got bat on ball nearly every ball, makes it look so easy.

Doh. 95 of 43balls is a great innings but you would still be gutted to be out.

Maxwell batted so well there.
This is a true game of T20 being played as it should, with Power, innovation and skill!
Much better then some of the dull games we get here in England.

That was one hell of an innings by Maxwell! Also one hell of a drop by Nehra!
Easy now for Punjab, this pitch is an absolute airstrip

Millar showing his class. Knock ones while maxwell is in. Then when maxwell goes. Hes took over.

Bailey just needs to knock ones.

Cant help feeling both lineups are to batsmen heavy. Whoch jas allowed big scores.

Just shows the benefit of getting your best foreign players/big hitters in early.
Something other teams don't do

Beggining to think this tournament should be the iapl.

There's atleast 3 Aussies in most line ups. Only chennai not picking one!

Strange for dhawan show as dropped by India in the wt20 to open instead of Warner. A man in form.

I can understand why finch is ahead of Warner though. Left right combo and all that.

Hyderabad side looks good on paper....... And as I write finch has gone

What a chase by Punjab..they have an amazing batting line up.

Only if there were no strategic timeouts.

My bet is on RR for the 2nd game of the day as Hyd doesn't have an impressive batting line up except for the top 3.

Nehra certainly dropped the match win! If Maxi would have been caught (I think he was on 38) then I am doubtful that it would have been chased down.
Just shows how catches win matches.
Nonetheless, that was a massive chase and an impressive one! I would have loved £50 on the chase win during the interval.  ;)

Looks like these 2 teams are playing on a completely different wicket to the first game. Great to see 2 bowlers getting the white ball to move instead of opening with a spinner
