« on: April 19, 2014, 04:24:48 PM »

Hi all

Thought I'd start us off this year.

Played against a guy with full neon gear today.
Also saw a Wright cricket bat (but not in use) one of the oppo had.

One of the lads I played today had a kookaburra impulse and it flew, sounded lovely!

Saw a Woodstock tour de force got a good 50 odd against is today.

Were also a couple of BAS on show (one Vampire and not sure of te model of the other one)

In our team one of the colts turned up with a Newbery Kudos daddy had bought for them and there was a nice TT SPS.

On a more village note, one of the oppo was right handed, but batting in left handed pads...  :-[

B3s every where's!

4 in our side, 2 on oppos on sat, and I believe all 11 oppos had b3s in today's game.

But seeing as one of the opposition was called Charlie blatherwick, and b3 director is also called blatherwick. I'm guessing that's the reason why.

Watched our 2nd team yesterday and a guy had full BB set up, lovely bat in a BB 2 profile and also the gloves in the similar style to the Newbery GT with the silver fingers. They were so comfy. Bat was massive for the weight and had a lovely pick up.
