One of our midweek T20 players has a youtube channel and PiriPiri cricket have given him the biggest piece of willow that I have ever seen. It only weighs between 2'9-10 but look like it should weigh at least 4lbs! Huge!

Sourced a team mate an RK.

59*, 39* and 4 with it so far (the one 'out' he was caught on deep cover boundary).

Apart from that there is not much kicking around that I have seen in the two matches I have played.

Saw a couple of Aldred bats on Saturday - first ones I've seen in our league. Both looked very nice and seemed to go well, but the owners weren't around for long!

Made my SEPL debut Saturday (rain effected so didn't get to bowl  :( ) and got a lot of attention from my own team when I appeared with my AdiTek, and more attention from the opposition when I walked out to bat.

One of their blokes came up to me and asked for a look at my helmet (quickly followed up by "I'm not taking the pi55, I've only ever seen one on the telly before"). There were a couple of comments about the price (I've got more money than sense apparently) but Overall everyone seemed impressed. My team mates couldn't believe how light it was.

Kit wise one of my team and a couple of the opposition used BT Blades bats. Was also a nice GM Six6 Original used by one of the other team that was half heartwood.
