Let's play compare the Slazenger V1200 Fusions!
« on: June 05, 2014, 07:21:22 PM »

Here is my little orchard of V1200s. Ordered 5 (realised after purchasing that I could only purchase a maximum of 3, looks like I got away with it!) as I will pass them on to team mates who are not as well off.

3 of the bats weigh 2'9, 1 at 2'10 and another at 2'11. One of the 2'9 is bigger than the 2'11 bat, it's a big boy.

Bats from left to right
                                  edge spine  toe
Bat 1 - 2'9 7 grains    39     49     28
Bat 2 - 2'9 13 grains  38     53     32
Bat 3 - 2'9 10 grains  38     52     28
Bat 4 - 2'10 6 grains  37     50     29
Bat 5 - 2'11 7 grains  35     52     30

The grips on these bats hum ridiculously strong!

I must have missed the offer.

What was it? Buying 5 bats, all the same, it must have been darn good.

I bought two, photographs soon. Both are 2lb 10oz. One has about 20 fairly straight grains.

Wish they would do the kook 1250 at that price.

Think I need to try sell my new masuri Ti lid and BAS shadow to raise some cash for a new bat. :)

Be sensible, you need as much kit as possible, sell man juice or one of your kidneys instead!

Thing is the BAS is not getting touched as its to heavy for me and my CA goes like a rocket. As for the lid as nice as it is, its black (club colour is maroon) I don't like the double bar or the small gap between the peak and bar. Both are just gathering dust.

I ordered 3 as a few team mates mentioned their bats were damaged and were looking for a cheap replacement.

I'm away at the moment but I'll put the photos up when i can. I did ask for specific weights but they replied they read the mail after the order had been processed. Be interesting to see what turns up.

I got a rather special one having only been able to open the box today, she has six wobbly grains and a few blemishes but a 40mm edge and a 61mm spine despite the scooping all at a tiny 2'7. Picks up like a dream compared to my 3'1-2'13 match bats.
Pics later today methinks
