Camper than a row of pink tents, pitched on a field of lace doilies...

I'm joking of course. Nothing wrong with pink :)

Around that many claim no concaving but the truth is if it has a spine their concaving of some sort.

But as you see a very full profile middle is 14in from the handle about the same area my 1271 started cracking it where i hit the ball the most.

I hear you may have something bubbling

Surely not... Dead flat on both sides would produce a distinct spine (think of a triangle). As in fact could a convex profile that wasn't fully smoothed over.

Profile looks good, think I preferred the look of the DW1 though!

Sorry dave, I'm calling you out on that one. I have a load of bats from the eighties that have no concaving and clearly have a spine. The two are not linked.

Well kind of but if you have a spine you can't of have to have some cutting.

Look at a tour a rounded shape it has no concaving because of the convexing.

My theory rightly or wrongly if it has a spine it has cutting to have a spine as it will be raised.

Not splitting hairs and Interpritation but a spine is not natural or should I say fin bigger the fin the more concaving is my termanology

Yes concaving tends to be more central in the two corridors either side and the spine is slightly different but to have a spine cutting wood must have occured.

Otherwise it would be convex backed like a tour and a few others.

Aye, but ito get to a Tour, you have to do some cutting and there is no concaving there. If you didn't do cutting you'd just have a cleft.

My new favourite bat this badger I now understand what streaky has said about it and understand the stiffness and how it goes like a bomb.

My favourite profile currently well with another I have seen streaky working on.

Will hopefully be showing a few more prototype shapes very soon
