Love GM for doing something different and taking a risk but I feel like the scoops are more for looks over performance. I would love to know the reasioning for the shape and positioning of the scoops.

A smaller version of the GM logo would look good on all bats I think.

Smaller, and not as deep!

From what I understand, the scoops don't help or hinder the bats performance. They are there simply to reduce bat weight and therefore allow for a bigger profile.

I think they had a few scoop designs in mind, but finally decided on the this one.

At the trade show I was told that the scoops were there mainly because it shows off what the GM bat makers can do! I guess it has the added benefit of reducing weight, but this wasn't the main concern of the rep I was speaking to...

The CNC logo is cool. But the design of the scoops looks like something from a CAD operator's first CAD lesson...

Well, at least they're trying something different, I suppose, unlike other brands that put out the same old, restickered bats year after year. I like the look of it.
