Duck bill toes have never been a problem strength wise. I used an insignia for years with no issues. It finally died by splitting the length of the blade when smacking a big shot.

I've measured the one that I have Paul and the actual toe is the same thickness as my other bats.

The original Insignias never had a duck-bill, did they? Certainly there's one (circa 1982) in my parents' loft that doesn't.

My first SH bat was a County reflex mid 90's. It had a really pronounced duck bill toe. I had it for a couple of years with no problems at all. I then gave it away to a bloke in the thirds who used it for years. Great bats!

Saw one of these being used, a couple of weeks back. It was sticker-less. I think the bloke using it was surprised I was able to identify it. He probably doesn't know that places like this exist!

That B&S of Chads in the 'Michael Clarke' shape / The SS Duckbill shape that Sanga used this summer.

Lovely that is!

The one I have has a duck bill toe, but bot not overly pronounced. It is around 2'12/2'13 though, so it may be weight dependent. I think mine is a nineties edition, going on stickers.

Am I allowed to be biased and say my shape partly designed by me for my b3 bespokes?

Pink one has a thinner toe due to damage in that pic.

Nice low middle that suited my game well.

Slight changes to the profile for next years bats though....

I have far too many favourites!

I think out of all the big brands, my favourite profiles must be the Argon and the Puma Platinum/SS full profiled LE. Smaller brand/bespoke wise, I think the B3 DW1, Red Ink Sirius, B&S Clarke profile and the H4L NV are my favourites. :)

My favourite profile this year is definitely the Long Blade custom Dynadrive.
Is this a custom because it's a long blade or is something different shape whose to an off the shelf dynadrive?
And as its a custom was it made from a cleft out of their "special cupboard"?

Because it's a long blade. It was made from whichever cleft was selected as appropriate as I've never been to the cupboard...
