Ive been on a no carb diet for the past 2 weeks, bar the 16 pints I drunk saturday night and the 2 kebabs! and ive shifted getting on for shifting 11kg, im looking to get back to around 95kg in weight. Being back playing rugby is helping an awful lot and no cricket teas!

Been building up brownie points with the missus by going to Yoga classes with her. Really improved my flexibility, especially since I lost the full range of motion in my knee due to 3 ACL Surgeries.

On a side note, the other girls yoga pants are really see through when they bend over...makes for fantastic viewing  [For science obviously.]

Anyone else got any opinions on yoga?  I'm recovering from a side strain and think it might be a good pre-winter gyming option?

Right - time to poke this a little - Did anyone keep up with their weight loss plan?

I joined Slimming World because I am a manly man, also I liked their combo of Low Carb / Low Sugar plan and also that it's quite relaxed on weighing and measuring and all that bollox. Basically it's 'eat plenty of all this, and eat very few of these'.

It's not been easy as I basically like bread, cake and beer - however, you get used to it after a couple of weeks, and the key is to just be organised and make your lunched and breakfasts in advance - also, don't crucify yourself if you have a bad day, just get back on the wagon again.

Anyway, I started at 16st 2lbs and after 2 weeks am down to 15st 8lbs, and I'm aiming for 14st dead. But the side effects are already that I can get into some lairy shirts I couldn't before, and I've started running again without pain in my knees.

This is the first weight loss I've stuck to for more than a week, so I'm going to go for it - has anyone else done slimming world?

ps - One side note, my poos are getting really smelly!!!!!

At the start of the season I was around 80kgs. At the end of the season I was about 89kgs... oops! haha I blame it on the awkward eating hours and the excess drinking to forget all of the horrendous performances this year.

But I've given myself 7 weeks to get back down to 80kgs before I go away. Going to start the gym next week and hopefully going to reach the goal

I was pushing 22 stone on the 13th Jan - just dipped under 16 now.

First rugby match in a few years tomorrow, now I know I can fit in the kit!

Yep - like a new man! I've had people I know walk straight past me.

Although it's given me the batting yips. Just like Andy "The Viking" Fordham...

Really really not good
No wonder I'm still aching like a beatch after a little net
I'm carrying way too much lard around

I daren't measure my waist

Anyway

No carb/definately no sugar starting now

32 waist is the goal for Xmas

For a start

If you need some diet resources i recommend the below, there is a low carb and fasting link. I've used both over the last 10 years, both work.
Low carb:
http://www.marksdailyapple.com.......low carb, I followed thus for a few years, it really works. In fact it worked too well, I had to up carbs, but the theory is solid .
Fast:
http://www.eatstopeat.com/?utm_expid=7760520-27.JAawUSTQTp2jXrqpt_fgrg.0&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.co.uk%2F
This is the best fasting diet I've seen and used. Fasting isn't for everyone but brads programme works.

It's my 6th wedding anniversary today, I'm 35 and walking around at about 17.4, when we got married I was around 16st! I resumed cricket in between being married after having played a decent level as a junior then being in a very nasty car crash when I was 17 (broken vertabrae etc) desperately need to get back to 15-16st to get back to being a lot more mobile but it's hard!!
