I tried watching it whilst my son was at football training. Had to have it on mute though.  Got some funny looks from few of the dads!

This is why I love Winter more than Summer!

It's all about the kit! Actually using the stuff when the suns comes out is boring.

Wish I'd have had more notice on this, would have watched it live.

Watched for a bit.

I use a vice and put the handle in rather than the table.

Good skills.

Nice job, how did you get the rear Kook sticker to go back on?

I made sure I peeled it off carefully and then stuck it back down. It was only off the bat for an hour so the glue was still sticky.

I'm glad you got rid of that awful bottom sticker, looks brilliant without it.

Picked up this Salix  5 star gem, Harrow Bat, looking to rent if out to Juniors next season.

It came in a really good condition, could not see any cracks or damage (looks barely used).

Pics below of before and after a sand down. oh and i hate people who put fibre glass tape on the wood!

Rent it out to juniors? That's pure gold that is!

Decent job on the tidy up, but I can't see your rent a bat service taking off mate

Had 4 junior bats last year all rented out. It appeals to the parents to spend £20 on a bat until they get to SH as it wont cost them a bomb in money!

Good work on the refurb, looks excellent.

Is that 20 per season to hire out or just the same bat hired out to different people at different times for 20 quid?

20 for the season, I get 10 the club gets 10. We also do junior pads and gloves for 10 per season, I source cheap kit, club reimburses me. They take the rent monies. So 30 per season compared to around 100 per year, good deal IMO.
