Face width is 10.6cm, which having just checked, is the same as a few other brands SH bats that we have here.  One or two have widths of 10.7cm.

For me this is a bit of a non-issue, to be honest...

Finally someone else who sees sense!
My SS LE is 105mm wide, and the chase just I refurbished was 106mm when I'd finished. Taking a couple of mm off the edge with a sander doesn't make it a worse bat, so a couple of mm here and there isn't even slightly important in the grand scheme of things....

Agreed to a degree it been a trick for quite a while shorter thinner yet bigger bats.

I bet when you get it you will not notice the difference one of my Indian bats is the same nobody could tell and with the flat face looks wider.

I've got a red ink T20 bat that is 10.4 cm wide, it isn't really noticeable to the naked eye & doesn't make any real difference during use.

That is a lovely looking bat, good choice!

Hold on.... Most of my runs are off the outside edge through the slips or squirming past Guly... 2mm off the width could halve my run total!! [emoji12][emoji5]️

I checked all my 3 bats they vary between 10.5 and  10.6

So I wouldn't  worry too much about it mate. Just focus on using  the middle mate.

I will agree with The Palmist , if  you are seeing the ball and middling it i guess little less width of the bat doesn't make any difference .. all i care now would be how well the bat will perform .

i just ordered a custom bat thats not far off harrow dimensions, i'm loosing more off the handle and less off the blade but when i saw the harrow bats that B&S had, especially at 2'9 i was very very tempted. At 5'7 then i do find the end of a normal SH handle gets in the way. I think the B&S ones were 3mm thinner. it really is nothing. Like everyone says, if your hitting the ball out of the middle then it really won't be an issue.

I wasn't raising the point in the way many people have seen it. I personally would like to have a bat at the maximum width permitted of 108mm, but yes a few mm won't make much of a difference.

I was simply demonstrating that apart from miracle clefts or over dried nonsense from some Asian brands, you generally either get bats that are big, or you get bats that are light.

This third way of making them narrower is a little deceptive as everyone will praise that profile at such a light weight, but the reality is the bat is not full width, thus saving a fair bit of weight.

This one Paul is selling and the one I am knocking in are both lovely bats that I would happily use.

I have never measured or felt the difference so far with all the bat collection i have. since you deal with bats day in day out how many bats do you see in general we in less width ? i curious to know .
