I think a design a bat session with streaky. Maybe once a month do a live session with streaky and his CAD tool, with a different type of bat designed each month. The live part is really forum members chipping in with tweaks and suggestions.

That would be great to see, even if it's a one off

Ohh I like that! He can explain the thinking behind different shapes and why you might do certain things. Obviously don't give away the trade secrets but it would be good to see!

Balance and pick up is a personal thing mate but would like to do more videos but over 400 bats went out through the door last month so it would be hard to video them all but your point is well taken.

No mate bats we do try our best with videos but mainly send pictures as you know well mate videos well we shall see we do some reviews from time to time but it would be hard to find the time to do them all.

But will put them through to the suggestions meetings as I like the idea mate and wish I was there all the time I would do them all

Agreed it is a area to look into

I would quite like to see a few making of the bats processes, with images of different bats throughout.

A detailed video of how the cad design actually works and taking a design from beginning to end would be great

Dave I'd like to know the relationship between the numbering of a cleft (around 400) and its moisture content please.

One of the things we are looking into is brining out Handled and machine shaped cleft where the shoulders and toes are cut so you can kind of try your hand at finishing a bat. Would come as a little kit maybe with some twine as well.

Sounds a good idea for us badgers! (Although some of us may have already tried to one degree or another)

Hand sanding is quite therapeutic, and once you get the hang of it hand binding isn't too bad but does take a while!
