Exactly my point!
If you beleive everything you're told though, TK makes 1500 bats an hour, 30 hours a day, 8 days a week.

As nobody (generally) confirms or denies making bats for *insert player here* most people will never be certain who's really using what.

I visited a place locally that claimed to make Chris Gayle, Ian Bell, Broad, Kp's etc.. Just had to smile and keep quiet when the guy who I went with went 'oh, i'll have one of their bats if they use it, must be good'... yeha, the ones they give them are good (if they make for them!).. the ones they'll sell you are the standard ones mate. unlucky.

So who is making KP's bats, I know he changes the stickers himself but don't know who makes them

I was told and one point that his bats were made by Hawk. How true it is though is anyone's guess!

I hear a lot of players linked to Hawk.  An attractive English strokemaker with the initials IB being the main one.

I believe this to be the case also, my nephew's had a couple of bats made by Hawk. As far as I can recall a certain tall, blonde, bats left handed, bowls right handed England opening bowler had his made by Hawk too.

It could of course have been complete BS spouted by my brother :-)

This is quite a fun game.

Any other common knowledge ones doing the rounds?

I am sure we're all aware of a former England South African number 3 with a slap head and a hard hitting right handed opening Australian batsman rocking B3's...

So we can't even trust that GM bats are really GM bats now, this is hurting me head haha  :S

EDIT. Oh I think you mean New Balance not GM when you mean JT and AF

Wasn't there a thread on here a while back where every man and his dog were claiming to have made bats for him? I think a certain forum sponsor who use a highly sophisticated CAD/CAM process to make their bats was also mentioned as making his bats, but I might be making that up.

Hawk claim to make a lot of peoples. As with everything, if you like Hawk you'll believe them, if you aren't as keen on them you'll be sceptical.

True, hence my BS disclaimer. My brother has bought a couple for my nephew and thoroughly recommends them at every opportunity.

Well seeing as MRF are a tyre company, was always pretty likely he'd be using another brand's bats, rather than the few they 'manufacture' purely to be able to sponsor cricket players.

If you zoom in on the end of the handle you may get a clue as to who made this bat for Broad!
