Kitbag Advice........
« on: December 03, 2009, 12:37:02 AM »

I am deciding on a decent tour kitbag.
This will need to have room for all the normal gear and then some! And as its mainly for tour, it would help it is stand-up.
Shortlist is:
- M&H Double decker kitbag (tan and white colour)
- England bag (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110461540458&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT)
- Aero Tour stand-up kitbag (2010)
- Gunn & Moore Original L.E. Duplex Wheelie Kitbag
- Kookaburra Pro 1000 Cricket Kitbag
- Gray Nicolls Pro Performance Cricket Bag
- Newbery SPS Wheelie Cricket Kitbag 2010

My head says Aero. But my heart says the M&H, Newbery, etc.  :-\

I've just bought one of the Adidas England Wheelie - Its superb. I had a Woodworm Premier Wheelie beforehand and they are worlds apart

I would go for either the newbery sps or gm duplex wheelie, or a little higher above that price range the new aeros!

The Aero does sound amazing . . . .but with the Kookaburra you have the added advantage of being able to use it as a hotel whilst on tour!! Its HUGE!! :o

Thanks guys - great advice. Still don't know what to go for.
I guess in an ideal world, I would have them all in front of me, and would choose from there.
But alas, I will have to deliberate a little longer!   :-\

Don't get a GM bag! Just search the forum and theres a whole thread about how everyone had a GM bag and it ripped.

I currently have a GN pro performance bag and find it very good, but am looking to upgrade to an aero.

After reading the all out cricket review of kit bags, and other bits, i think i may have to go with the 2010 version of the Aero.
It may not look as plush as the M&H or a couple of other bags, but they rate it the best all round.
Had better get my order in before Crimbo!

Get an aero, a mate used one on tour and survived being chucked around a fair bit. ;D

GM ones fall to pieces, even the handles came off  :-\

I think my mind is made up!
The 2010 Aeros are made stronger and lighter too (evidently!)

England Adidas- very tempted myself, although you could be a discerning englishman and get a leather M&H one

Everyone has said how good these Adidas England bags are.
And got to admit the M&H Distinction gear looks lush.

But I think my mind is made up now - 2010 Aero tour stand-up!
