Received Bats yesterday and here is an update from initial look and feel

Cricmart. In service : very good service always responds to fb chat, ordered and bats are delivered within 3 days and also did follow-up after receiving bats.

Feel and Balance: I am still not sure if these are Professional Players bats or not but when i first picked up the bat Special Edition felt little bottom heavy and it weights 2.9.9 on scale and feels exactly 2.9.9, Master 9000 (claimed as Sanagakara bat) weights 2.10.1 and feels little lighter than the weight may be like 2.9 . There is no names or anything written on the toe neither the toe is buffed that players name is erased. Toe on both bats are perfectly sanded and waxed like any other shelf bat.

Ping: Ping is one thing def very very good and initial response of the mallet is very good.

Stickers: I like the stickers of Special Edition as they are very minimal in the front and back and little bit different than standard SS bats.

Comparison : These Players bats are they really different and u cant compare with any shelf bats .. i am sorry to say NO . I have purchased few bats from VKS ( Reserve , Platinum and Gold Edition) all the bats have performed exceptionally well and are same quality as these bats from Cricmart.in. I am not saying these bats are bad they are really a good ones but from my past purchase of SS bats from VKS i dont see any difference. May be once i knock them in they might play better than what i got from off the shelf bat.

Here are more pictures.

These do look like great bats! I just have an issue and this is not aimed at you at all. Cricmart appear to be selling a lot of 'players' bats, which i know has been brought up before. And its mad, I could call anything a players bat and sell it. Unless I had bona fide proof that it was indeed a players bat, i.e. I got it off the person myself, I know the seller well and trust them or some other form of guarantee then I wouldn't trust them with a barge pole let alone my money. These bats look great, and I hope they go well for you because why would I not want bats to perform. I think it should just be noted that all of a sudden a particular company has popped up with a lot of 'players' bats, this is buyer beware in the extreme. As I said I hope these go well, and they look great but Sangakara will be looking where all his bats have gone at the rate cricmart are selling them.

Quick question @ursmasti
For the Sangakkara bat, did you pay the normal Masters 9000 price or was it higher (player's price or something like that)? The 1 player bat which I have seen performs similar to the off the shelf Reserve Edition.

I love the SS with the black stickers and I'm not usually a fan of SS but they're two beauties.

And that is exactly my point. I am not making any assertions as to the validity or not of the retailers claim. However, you only have their word, and to charge you more for a bat that potentially may not have the authenticity that they claim.

As per swat cricmart went with a batch of premium quality SS bats for IPL players. So these bats that they are selling are the leftover ones. Say they took 5 bats for player X and he kept 2 , so they are selling the remaining 3 to interested public.
So these may have gone to player's kit bag but now they are in CBF member's bucket :)

Whether its a players bat or not, is a different story but these bats extremely good looking and with ruler straight grains you are going to get amazing performance !!
