If we win tonight it will be 4 consecutive series wins in England for the BlackCaps. Outstanding.

Yet still can't win a test series how strange !!!!

To be honest though the whole New Zealand side will live long in the memory fair play

I think Billings looks a good player. The one who looks uncertain to me is Roy. So, maybe Root opens with JT at 3. Not sure it will happen though.

I think the best thing about NZ is that they're hard but not boorish. I know this has been said before, but htis is perhaps the most refreshing and memorable aspect of their side to be honest. That and KW. Such a good player.

KW is absolute class and the whole series, test and one dayers, has been excellent. Second the attitude of the Kiwi's...all the strutting around and sledging is a complete waste of time, NZ have shown(if we ever needed remnding) you can be hard on the field, shake hands afterwards win or lose and (i'm sure) have a beer afterwards...

As for England, I presume they know about Taylor and want to look at Billings and Jason Roy, a bit harsh on JT but you cannot look at new players otherwise. I would keep Billings in myself to see what he has got, same with Roy.....

Taylor I think will be the new Ravi Bopara-the first man to be dropped all the time. Not sure what it is about him just a gut feeling he won't make a fully fledged International player..
He has talent for sure and a good cricket brain, but maybe he will be the one to miss out.

Whatever the outcome of this series Brendon Mccullum and his team have to be admired for the way they play there cricket. Also believe because  of the way the Kiwis play ( plus a poor England at the World Cup ) made England selectors  sit up and take notice and select exciting players to watch who play without fear.

Just watching the replay of game 3. KW and RT absolutely schooled the English bowlers. I'm not sure David Willey is an International standard bowler either. A couple of soft wickets to bolster the stats and nothing really looked dangerous.

Anyway, game 4 should be interesting.

Cook probably still thinks he should be in the side.

You England guys still want to get rid of Morgan?

Scarily, I still don't think this is our best team! Feel sorry for James Taylor - he's been hard done by, but don't see how he could fit in the side at the moment.

Not sure of the point of Billings at 7. I'd prefer another bowling all rounder I think. Maybe move Rashid up one, keep Willey and slot Plunkett or Jordan back in once fit

This is a bloody good team to watch now and one you have to be nervous about playing. Aggressive batsman throughout and Root holding them together.

Man, how good was Vettorri?

If England can get this good, this quickly, it raises serious questions about what Peter moores was doing so badly wrong [and the twonks who appointed him).

Just saw the scores from the match. Looking at the scorecard, seems like Wood put in another fantastic effort with the ball, Willey got spanked again and Williamson / Root ran a batting clinic.....again. Hopefully catch the replay tonight.

Only that England are poor at both Ha Ha

Poor England with there attacking brand of cricket equal the 4th highest total by any team batting 2nd to win an ODI scoring 350 off 44 overs in the process beating there previous best of 306 for 5  v Pakistan  in 2000.
Strange that.

What a breath of fresh air this new look England side is! My Mrs bought me tickets to the ODI at Lords vs Australia but have a cousin's wedding on that day so can't go. Up until a couple of weeks ago I wasn't fussed about missing it but now..!

A few stats jokes flying around last night and it looks like the players have been allowed to just play.

Before we get too carried away....

Boundaries have been brought in like never before and these are the 4 flattest ODI decks I have seen in England for a while. Some of the bowling hasn't been top draw either, from both sides but pressure can do that. Both teams are probably shipping 50 runs + each due to those factors alone.

Can't help thinking Durham won't be quite as flat or as small.
