Just a few I have played with / against over the years who haven't really kicked on (I play in the Liverpool Comp BTW)

Vishal Tripathi: exceptional talent, spent a year or so at Northants, never really kicked on

Vish currently back in my league (lancs league) playing for Burnley. alread nearly 700 runs for the season.
Still plays for unicorns but agree he shouldve gone further

Brad Hodge falls in this category: 1 double century, 2 half centuries and a test average of 56. Dropped after 6 tests.
Didn't help hodge that ponting didn't like him or want him in the side.

Should of kicked on at a young age, was sent to work with terry jenner at 16 (if I recall correctly) quality player, probably over thinks his game

Highest scoring ametuer this season so far and that's ahead of David Brown (also at Burnley) who played 12 years county cricket.

top effort, although I'm not convinced hes playing for free.... particularly if Chris Holt (who I have also played alongside) is club pro...... ;)

Yeah played a bit, from  what I saw he was the stand out player, along with Fell who is now at Worcester I believe?

Speaking of Worcester, what has happened to Chris Russell is he still there?

I didn't play for anyone in Birmingham, just played against some sides in Birmingham in cups and with Uni etc

Russell has some genuine pace! surprised he hasn't kicked on

Don Bradman, should of averaged 100, mentally weak Aussy, just like all the rest.

Sydney Barnes, should have finished with a better test average.
