I said that Lyth should've been dropped after the first test.

Finally seems the rest of the forum are starting to jump on the bandwagon.

Any replacement is better than this

I think it's time that Paul at IJC did another one of his ashes offers. Say '60% off everything' to celebrate the Aussies batting!!  :D ;)

Lets not get too excited,

There is still a long way to go here!

Only takes for England to get skittled for 150 and its game back on

Ah well, you can only play what's put in front of you, and if it's a team that doesn't know how to grit it out, then what can you do. Especially when they're the number one team in the world (when playing in Australia)...

Have to admit England is playing quite well for the 6th best test team  ;)

Ian Bell poor again!

Cooky and Root were looking really good

Big chance for Bairstow to score some runs with little pressure.

England really need 300+ here so someone needs to score some runs

Do they? I think they NEED about 150, 300 and the game's ours.

300 should be their target. Root and Bairstow's game here.

300? I'd say bat for as long as possible into tomorrow then give themselves 3 days to get the Aussies out again win the test

The way the aussies have bowled too wide, it's like they all want their own song....

I wonder if the Aussies would've batted if they won the toss

Clarke said they are a batting side.

With only 4 bowlers, the last thing they would want is to be bowling.
