Hi Streaky,

What's your thoughts on bowing the blade. Does this improve pickup? If it does how come didn't use this?

Marc

No evidence or theory to suggest bow improves pick up. The bat is theoretically a "BEAM" and uses COG x distance from pivot point calcs, which bow does not effect. I have heard this one before however but think it is an urban myth / old wives tale.

Hi Nick,

Yup - average weight 400 density.

We can change the model anyway you like, but that then wont be a SERIES shape and cost you a little bit more (£50) for a BESPOKE design. You can however go to Harrow width / super short blade/LH and that will loose you approx 2 to 3 oz.
Cheers Streaky, sounds like a plan ;-)

So the edge size and shape would remain the same size no matter what size density you choose, I'd have to have a 2lb13oz one as I'm no Conan!

Wow...I would definitely love to have one of those in my hands.

Horizontal bats shots such as the cut or the pull would be almost impossible with a bat that size unless the batsman has tree trunks for arms!!

This density talk always confuses me, and I work with numbers all day lol. So simply can you get these in a normal weight of say 2.9 or 2.10 but with say 44mm edges as an example of would that not be the "Pepsi" shape?

Hi Chaps,

Keep on getting emailed the same questions, so thought a post on here would help.

These are only available in grades 1, 2 and 3, we do not have, and cannot get any in butterfly.

Miniumum weight for this bat is 2lb 12.5 oz and as discussed these do pick up a lot lighter.

You can alter the design (shape) as much as you like to get the weight down a little further, but this would be a BESPOKE design and would cost you an addition 50 pounds on the prices above that Chris has added (thanks mate).

If you want the same design but lighter, we can do the normal indian/pakistan tricks by making the bat thinner - harrow width (104mm) or have a shorter blade/LH.

I have made 6 of these for the showroom that I will pop up on here - grade/weight etc that you can pick from or we can obviously make to order no problem.

If you have any questions best to pop it on here - that way if somebody has a similar question they can have it answered straight away ;-)

Without altering the design I cannot say howmuch you would loose - but you would obviously make it lighter as you are removing Mass out of the design by taking the edge down to 45mm. This would be your bespoke design and not a TKC shape.

1 Stripes will be made to order, just a note - these will be extremely limited however.
