Sarfaraz is keeper.

Imran khan can't get a run anywhere. 0 runs in 7 matches

To be fair to the lad he's only actually batted 4 innings I think it is, with at least two 0* now!!!

Can't judge him so much on that innings, but this winter will be the time everyone realises Moeen Ali is not a test match batsman. Hopefully the sledgehammer of eternal justice can get a score today.

I'm still very much over Ian Bell.

Bell is slowly fading for England isn't he... How long does he have left/will he keep going?

Time to end the Ali experiment? Decent slogger, but not a test top 6 batsman.

He's going to look rather silly if he retires before the summer, right? Post Ashes was the perfect time really...

oh gawd not a good start.
re;Bell

at some point what you have done in the past stops meaning anything. Don't matter whether it's test cricket or club cricket.

Strange how the umpires can call Wahab no-balls very accurately! Incidentally, when did he get so good? Since taking Watson apart at the WC he's bowled consistently fast and nasty, I'm sure back last time England and Pakistan played he was bang average? Serious bowler these days.

Amen. Taylor has banging on the door for so long and has been in great nick in ODI's and the warmup games for England, surely he deserves a go?!

Watch Bell get another unconvincing 60odd in the 2nd innings and cling onto his spot though. I feel for him because he's been a decent player for England over the last 10 years but I think his time has come.

I think Cook/management persuaded him he should play on, which isn't a bad call in theory as he's got years of playing left. Sadly doesn't look like the same player often enough recently though.
