I'm pretty much bang in the middle of Bristol and Taunton so either is convenient for me

OK, I have two functional legs again and was reminded of this by another topic.

Suggestion: a net at either the Gloucestershire ground or Merchants Academy in Withywood. Would prefer Glos personally. Weekend of the 16th/17th Jan works for me? Thoughts/who's keen?

I can prob make the Sunday 17th

Ok great, that's 4 of us, enough for a decent hours net. County ground sounds like the way to go.

Also, Colston's in Stapleton have a decent indoor hall, just don't smash the glass in the fire escape doors two balls in a row...they didn't like that.

Just seen this, don't think they were best pleased with my club when we netted there last winter! Me and one of our other lads smashed their office door glass a couple of times each, pretty sure we weren't the only ones either judging by the usual state of it when we turned up.

Sundays are a no no unless it's in season I'm afraid. Thanks for the invite, @spoonbed, don't forget your dog toy!

Well, we've booked a couple of pre-season nets just to see whether their grumpiness was just a one off or not.

Would be keen lads but using up my weekend pass the night before for the lads annual Darts comp/lash up with the cricket lads so no chance of getting to disappear off to nets the day after as well I'm afraid.
