Anyway back on topic, I heard that one of those lignum vitae heavy mallets has a green tinge to it, how much do they usually cost.

they dont sell them in shops that i have been into - they're difficult to get hold of.
I've seen a few up at Newbery and  i know they use them at m&h and at the county ground shop in somerset - will knock your bat in within 15-20 mins.......but you can just use the coopers hammer, this lignum wood is almost as hard as steel (or so they say!)

I googled Lignum mallets, i found a near enough cricket like one for £80 exc postage !

Thats ridiculous compared to a £5 mallet from my local cricket shop !

Tom would like to you rephrase your statement - Mongoose would be the perfect bat for Yuvi!!!

The problem for Mongoose is the huge amounts that Reebok and SS pay to some of the biggies from India and SL. Even if they use a Mongoose they will resticker it as a SS or Reebok.

bloody hell lads it seems like every other topic results in some sort of petty argument! how does sewag knocking his bat in with his hammer relate to any of this?! bear it in mind when posting, otherwise take it off the forum, it's unwanted by most....
