I wonder

is there a limit to how many "faces" you can get off a cleft?

does the last one perform as good as the first?

Well the bats are pressed are they are glued.

We used Clefts with cracks in the back.

think ryan got around 4 8mm faces off

there will be more pics and a few video clips

have you seen performance increases from the lams you have had simmy?

The only limit is on the wood, so varies due to natural knots, cracks etc. I wouldn't have thought performance would alter through the veneers, its the same piece of wood afterall. The performance will come from a combination of pressing and the glue used.

can you do me a corked bat???

or one with foam in it and then the laminate over the top .......... bit like one of those luminous fielding bats but with the laminate covering the foam so it cant be seen in the edge. So dig it out about 50mm from each edge and then fill it with foam. Once placing the laminate over the top the foam wont be seen.

Would love to hit a few massive 6's in a few midweek league games for a laugh

we actually discussed this Garrett. a lot of work involved tho. not with foam tho as not sure if that would work with the wood being over the top
