Sounds like they are. A bunch of trouble makers the game would do well to get rid of. Clubs that tolerate players who are aggressive and 'fans' should simply be chucked out and all those involved banned. No need for it
Couldn't agree more. Some of the games we played against them turned nasty and it's not what we want to see on the cricket field. Sad thing is I grew up playing alongside a couple of them and it's going to a 'bigger' club that's sent them that way.

Not related to the game about but they seem to have had other stuff go on

Can only assume it's something of a similar nature...

I actually played in this game  :D

When we played them the players were ok, played hard but fair but then they won so may have been different....

What wasn't good was the behaviour of their 'supporters' - I say that loosely as the club distanced themselves from those that came from the football who were quite frankly awful (racism, abuse, burning our Welsh flag, head-butting and punching people etc). Although turns out the main guy involved in the fracas after the flag burning (headbutting and punching) was a former player, we found that out recently.

Sad to hear more trouble followed them, some of those mentioned that were banned, I spoke to and they were very friendly and nice (captain was, he also apologised for the trouble) so not sure what happened but sounds like they have history.

Still sounds like banning the lot forever is the best solution for everyone

Lovely little ground. There one of our main rivals, but games are always in good spirit. Read the report, looked a good close game with your lot.

Yeah lovely ground, was a great game chasing down 248 off 35 overs - we also made it into the cricketer as well and I also got interviewed by them.

Seems to fit in this topic

Yes it's what the original post was asking about. Also certain teams in the Staffs clubs and Worcester Clubs leagues who were due to be relegated from there respective divisions may avoid relegation.

Have a look at some clubs that 'grace' our league. Keep reading to the bottom of the page. Any one who is over 30 and has played in Essex league cricket would be familiar with the person at the bottom of the page.

Haha, why just over 30?!

Two seasons now I've had arguments with him when sticking up for my team.

He used to be notorious years ago and since gone off the boil why i said about 30 year olds. Regular in the back pages of the league hand book. Personally, ive never had any run ins with him, but seen a few. Played against him season b4 last and he kicked off but made himself silly, tried the old im going to headbutt you while standing toe to toe with a good mate of mine after he was out, but my mate didnt move but just burst out laughing, then came a swift jab to stomach with his bat. Only thing he middled all day
