Terrible drop from Samuels

Just seen the highlights while the rain delay on the Engkand game. Maroon Samuels looks like from the highlights he couldn't give a damm about playing for his country, miss fields galore, dropped basic catches and just an attitude of why am I not a T20 superstar like all my mates.

Or..... Why am i the only t20 player here and the rest just do to be a dam?

It's amusing that the West Indies board claim gayle chose t20, and gayle claims he wasn't picked due to his back even though he said he could be available.

One thing that always gets me r.e windies, when times are tough and there are other options, it's easy for them to not care, because it is not there country. It's an amalgamation of all the Ireland's.
It's not the good old days anymore when they were so strong it was such a private to be picked as one of the nest xi available.

Anyway, good job Warner got out, windies would have been looking at 600 in a day if not.

He seemed to suggest shortly after he didnt see it, i guess the last thing he expected was for a wide long hop to be hit straight at him but still he does as you say look uninterested.

Cricinfo had an article the other day where they suggested it was time for the West Indies to split and go it alone as individual countries. Whilst it would be a shame based on their history in test cricket i do wonder if the individual nations mixed in with Ireland, Zimbabwe etc would make an interesting 2nd tier of international cricket (maybe playing 4 day games instead of 5)

I saw a little bit this morning and Holder had decent stats (0-33 from 17 overs) but all of the others were leaking runs - Roach 10 overs 0-53 being a particular example. Like you say, if Warner had got his eye in and batted all day he could have filled his boots quite considerably!!! With the poor fielding and bad bowling i imagine WI struggle to keep any pressure on teams

The opposition is truly dreadful but it's really good for Australian cricket that the players they've shown faith in Burns, Khawaja, Voges and Pattinson have thus far delivered the goods.

The selection panel where 100% correct in sticking with Burns over Shaun Marsh

@smilley792 => Warner might have got them in a day, but looks like Aussies are going to reach that target anyway ...

551/3 => 4 centuries in a single innings. Aussies are going to hand WI another innings defeat. I am not sure if Jason Holder can keep taking hits like this. WI board is hell bent on demoralizing and breaking down a young captain ...

The Aussies are certainly generous declaring early again. They should have continued batting and got 700-800. Least that way the match might have gone 4 days.

Just shows how vital chanderpaul was for the west indies. Still can't believe they dropped him because he had 1 poor series whilst the rest of the team continue to fail series after series.

The alarming thing is the decline in their bowling, they always had the bowlers to take 20 wickets but now the only world class bowler is Taylor. Roach is finished and holder bowls well but never takes any wickets. No one else in the reserves

Been watching the test now for two days straight, WI have been very disappointing, thank God I am able to watch a great test match unfold with the Safers and Poms game

This isn't a good endorsement for Test cricket. Yes I'm Australian but I like to see some sort of contest. This is like one sided beat down where the lesser side has no hope of actually fighting back.

Turn the channel to the SAF vs ENG game. Far more entertaining.

Credit to Australia who are being ruthless here but this is appalling from WI, some of those dismissals were absolute village stuff.

The aussie commentators are so biased its unbelievable, "that was defiantly not a no ball, there was a mm of boot behind the line and even so is it even disadvantaging the batsman?"

Err no MATE, that's the law no if ands or buts, Pattinsons boot shouldn't have even been that close to the line in the first place. Deffo gonna watch on mute plus the fact Mark Nicholas keeps chiming in with his nonsense.

Do you think he's being paid for every ball he blocks?? I feel he's only delaying the inevitable if he's not actually going to score.
