Just putting my head down after a day at b3 today. Was massively impressed with the setup there and great to meet Dave after years of pms about bats etc. I went for a custom zizi in the end and can't wait for the finished product to arrive.

What impressed me the most was the size of some of their profiles (particular the Pepsi and typhoon ) and how well they pick up. I went in thinking I was after a 2.8 and could have easily walked out with a 3lber.

Dave is a true gent and was an absolute pleasure to get the chance to talk bats and cricket with him.

Glad your happy and got home safe more important. Good to meet you pal and of course the Mrs who must be a very patient lady. Yep hope your bat is exactly what you want it to be and for everybody else.

I will be away from the forum for a week or so i have cricket burn-out currently so please do not think i'm being rude if i don't respond.

To all B3 owners what's your opinions on performance between the different grades i.e 1 stripe, 2 stripe, 3 stripe & crown?

Grade of willow does not necessarily affect how they play, a grade 1 bat could out perform a grade 3 but it could also be the other way round, pressing and quality of handle is more likely to affect how each grade plays. 

If you want a better looking and possibly a lighter bat then crown grade, if your not worried about how your bat willow looks then 1 stripe is great value..

But as grading is generally done on looks, you will find that any grade could out perform the other..
