Thanks Tom, I'll have a think, I'm just worried I'll just end up having 2 helmets that I don't wear instead of just 1 haha. That's not a reflection on your helmets or the Masuri I currently have obviously!

I use Albion 98 or Forma players helmet right now. I tried friends Masuri helmet and it felt just too heavy. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way ??

The deadweight is greater on the new Masuri, but when I have mine on (including a stem guard) it feels no different to any other helmet I've used. I think the "it weighs too much thing" is psychological, after a net or 2 you won't notice.

Thanks to those that have enquired and partaken in the trial so far. Down to the last few we have left if anyone else wants to come on-board?

Also thanks to those that have already provided very useful feedback having received and used their helmets.

Regards

Tom

I was lucky enough to get one of the new helmets from Tom. Unfortunately it won't now be used so I'd like it to go to someone on CBF. It's been tried on a couple of times but never used so as new. Black Adult with new grill design. Please PM me if interested. Thanks

I worn mine for the first time yesterday impressed with the feel of the helmet secure.  Just playing with padding as need double thickness on front padding. Thought it would take longer to get used to wearing helmet again but easier and could feel no different with Nektek.

second time ive worn the helmet tonight and really like it. the gap is defintely smaller the how i had my old ayrtek but tonight i didnt find it a problem at all and really liked it.

i out the right level of padding in this week as well which helped the fit.

overall though im really happy with my new helmet

Net number 5 tonight. As per last net, I've forgot I'm wearing it. A superb helmet.

Now if I could just get the titanium grill.......

All in good time, having an ongoing battle with the test house to get them to do their job I'm hoping the titanium grilles will be a whole heap faster to progress through!

Totally at home in my new lid now after 3 or 4 sessions so thanks Tom @Ayrtek
Glad to have it on today after this happened to one of the guys at club nets, beamer split his head open leading to most of a day at A&E, a nasty scar and a pounding headache!

Hope he recovers quickly mate,

The helmets are in the final stages of paperwork now having passed all tests were just waiting for certification officer to grant it but she's off for half term next week meaning a further delay from what we had hoped and were promised back in early Jan to have everything completed by now.

Having had several projects to juggle over the last 6-12 months that have taken up a great deal of time and energy outside of cricket I'll hopefully be in contact with any retailers wishing to stock the products next week. (Or if any on here are keen to stock then that don't please drop me a line) so we can offer people an option going into the 2016 season.
