yes, i still have that with me. Its still going strong but its pretty light for me. so dont use it much. i changed to bit heavy bats after i bought that bat.

and yes BDM was dry when it arrived, gave it a coat of oil 3 times.

but ss in my opinion are the best in india.

I never doubted moisture content as it was not a light bat and me myself gave it a coat of oil couple of times.

What i have noticed in this and my brothers bat(which broke in a very similar manner)is that both these bats were knocked in by a machine and broke exactly at the border where machine stops knocking.

In my experience knocking through mallet and a ball is a lot better then getting it knocked by a machine.

Looks like both bats broke just below the splice. Most of the bats CG point in in that area. i doubt it has anything to do with machine knocking, they both broke at CG point. A straight object can bend/break etc easiest at CG point.

That's sad mate but you should get a replacement in this kind of a damage. Happy Scoring!!!

Dilshan's CA bat just snapped like this when playing a ball. Seems like CA are extremely dry bats as well!

Bat a bit. Bowl a bit. Not too bad at point either!
