Thought it had a high middle, have ordered a DB1 also in 2lb 15oz so will be interesting to compare. Pleased to hear the pick up is good for the weight.

It's quite high but to be honest it's that big that even down low the response is excellent. First impressions are excellent but to be fair in indoor nets obviously the ball comes on nicely and bounces quite a bit, I suppose the proof will be in how well it is on the drive on normal pitches. The spine is probably still 60odd mil in the driving area so I'm confident it will perform.

Personally wanted a high middle and agree at this weight there should be plenty of wood lower, too.

I've never really used high middle bats before which could have something to do with my lack of proficiency off the back foot but I was cutting and pulling like Captain Cook tonight haha

Yeah it's huge! You were right about the pickup too mate, does not feel it's weight at all.

A strip of heartwood on the right hand edge.
Max edge size: 37mm
Max spine height: approx 62mm
Edge at toe: 20mm
Reasonable concaving

Only gripe is the bat has come with the wrong stickers (green instead of white) and a dirty grip, which are no longer colour coordinated, leaving me pretty dissapointed, but all in all looks a cracker for its weight.
