The post above go into any cricket shop see all the le or top model of bats you will not see the same bat identical time and time again they will have differences.

Look at lower Models of the bat some look better than the le but low and behold there a lower model.

Have you considered other factors playability.

I'm not gonna go round I circles o have had my say on the matter base your bat on your bat is what I'm saying stop looking in the shower to see if others are bigger.

Don't see any reason that B3s normal customer service wouldn't apply here..? Nasty sniff of entitlement from some on here, mostly not from those who have bought bats though it seems.

Well it's still a custom though isn't it. You can have input over almost any aspect of design as far as shape, handle type, blade length, stickers etc. just couldn't select specific clefts unless you visit the premises.

Well as I was passing I visited to spec up a bat shape - I didn't go through all the clefts to select any willow as I'm working on the theory Streaky and the rest of the B3 team know far better than I do how to get the most out of a natural product that is willow. Ok we'd all like 10-12 ruler straight grains evenly spaced but in reality is this also a bit of a ego thing (I do appreciate there is always a aesthetic value in most products in addition to functionality). I'd imagine with all the mull / Pepsi bats ordered there would be a strain on B3s stock of oversized clefts.

I work on the theory that B3 like all other retailers or batmakers on here are trying to compete in a difficult market and as such if a plank was sold it will effect not only repeat business but future sales from team mates / opposition.

Why do people assume they are getting 8+ grains and non blemished bats?

a great example is a I was talking to a batmaker about a bat and gave my spec to which they could not guarantee they could match and said I could not look at cleft choices until I paid in full

I said no thank you and got a bat from someone else

Streaky was VERY clear from the outset the very few conditions of this promotion: 400 density cleft, no Crown clefts and you couldn't choose your cleft unless you visit them in person... If this doesn't suit you, don't get involved with the promotion.

I've ordered another bat from B3 but as I want a low density, oversized cleft, the promotion didn't suit me. As I want these specs, I'm happy to pay full price to get exactly what I want!

If you have an existing issue with grading  then please contact b3.
If you do not have an issue with a bat you have received or not been involved in the offer then no more comments please. I think we get the picture. We've had plenty of debate and I have no time for people stirring the pot further for self gain or otherwise.

Anybody ignoring this will get a ban. This applies to all threads discussing the b3 offer. I am also removing comments as I see fit.

One thing I will say if your bat is in production of you think it is I'm down there tomorrow morning I will take a picture for you if you tell me your last name a few have already asked if there still in the factory I will do what I can lads and lasses please pm me.
