Well here we go then...

3 Stripe 1271 (Trott profile) - around 3lb :)

A lot of wood in this across the whole profile, it's a bit of a beast, and the embossed stickers are really classy.

Went for it knocked in so it came with a scuff sheet on which looks good quality.

Picks up beautifully, feels like a wand in the hand and with some shadow batting it's very manoeuvrable off of the back foot which is often a drawback to having a heavier bat. As a comparison it picks up comparably if not better than my SS Maximus which weighs 2lb 9oz, the oval handle as well sits very comfortably in the hand

Taps up very well with mallet and ball and the sweet spot range is exceptional as you'd expect from the Trott profile. I can't wait to get this in the nets now!

Also I would highly recommend the B3 bat cover, it's really well made and looks lovely as well.

Only minor negative for me is that the blade was a little bit grubby, had a few black marks on the edges and back which i was able to rub off with my thumb but under the scuff sheet it doesnt look the cleanest face in all honesty which you would expect from a 3 stripe. Personally it's not a big gripe for me, once you get a few cherries on it you won't notice it anyway and as long as the performance is there that's the key but I thought it worth highlighting.

Heres the pics:

Finally, thanks to @procricket B3  for answering any and all questions about profiles I had and to the Doctor for his customer service which is top draw :)

@brokenbat  feels comparable to me yeah - I've always used a heavy bat and feel comfortable doing so, the SS is my first light one, and for me i don't notice much of a difference at all. No doubt others might but pick up is one of those subjective things. Definitely picks up a lot lighter than you'd expect for a 3lber :)

@Woodyspin yeah I didn't realise until I posted the photo that my foot was in it, promise I'm not an Oompa Loompa really!

The Trott shape is awesome isn't it?! I picked one up in the showroom and could hardly put it down! The pickup is excellent and it is ridiculously big! Belter of a bat you've got there mate!

No problem mate pleasure was mine and my 1271 is still with me.

I modded mine but this for me is the best profile for club cricketers in terms of coverage.

The sheer wood in the shoulders help the pick up so much and the handle trot uses is simply great.

Great bat this and the modified trott that people have the old fashioned shape is still for me one of the best.

This out of all the customs this is the 2nd biggest volumed bat we do in normal clefts.

Hope you score the runs with this bat pal  :D

This was the bat that sealed the deal with me and b3 in truth

Excellent spread of weight nice even profile shape and thick shoulders provide you with a powerful bat with excellent balance and pickup. That toe is monstrous also. Grains pretty decent as well, so a winning combination.
