Well here we go then...
3 Stripe 1271 (Trott profile) - around 3lb
A lot of wood in this across the whole profile, it's a bit of a beast, and the embossed stickers are really classy.
Went for it knocked in so it came with a scuff sheet on which looks good quality.
Picks up beautifully, feels like a wand in the hand and with some shadow batting it's very manoeuvrable off of the back foot which is often a drawback to having a heavier bat. As a comparison it picks up comparably if not better than my SS Maximus which weighs 2lb 9oz, the oval handle as well sits very comfortably in the hand
Taps up very well with mallet and ball and the sweet spot range is exceptional as you'd expect from the Trott profile. I can't wait to get this in the nets now!
Also I would highly recommend the B3 bat cover, it's really well made and looks lovely as well.
Only minor negative for me is that the blade was a little bit grubby, had a few black marks on the edges and back which i was able to rub off with my thumb but under the scuff sheet it doesnt look the cleanest face in all honesty which you would expect from a 3 stripe. Personally it's not a big gripe for me, once you get a few cherries on it you won't notice it anyway and as long as the performance is there that's the key but I thought it worth highlighting.
