A touch over 2.11, picks up very well but will put another grip on it

What shape and weight is that @Ams4287?

Bit of a custom based on my Graeme Smith Epic but with a higher middle position taken from the original Kohler-Cadmore profile I believe. Weight wise according to the CAD it was 2.11ish but I've not weighed it - nice light pickup. It's not as big as the GM not surprisingly being a average density. I must say the handle "big oval" feels really nice.

Was curious to have a bash with a square toe having seen Dave (pro crickets) Pepsi.

It's only a inch higher so nothing major - it's just based on where I seem to hit the ball (tried to get as much coverage as possible). If I remember I'll post a picture of them together

Please check with B3 if it's allowed. When I applied and didn't get and email I entered again with a different email so got one for both emails. I have only used 1 as its one per customer so if they allow I am happy to share the info with you.

There were only a 100 so don't want it to go waste, obviously depends on how they are counting as in if its email based or name based. If it's name based allocation then I don't have one to give out.

The bat weighs around 2.14 but have not lobbed it on the scales yet so cannot tell.

All the key bits for you lot

grains:                 17 basically blemish free
edge:                   ~40mm
Spine:                  ~69mm
Toe thickness:       ~23mm (tapered and square)
Standard blade, shorter oval handle with a thicker (No Swearing Please) (via grips) to help with the pick up
Profile is the Brendon McCullum (with slightly amendments) replica Number 4211

A few notes on the bat so far:
Get the niggles out the way first, the only thing that wasn't what i had asked for was the handle thickness as I had originally asked for a thin shorter oval handle but it was a relatively thick oval which when picking it up feels phenomenal so cannot complain with the change. Grip and stickers are perfect, matches my crown ZiZi (review coming up shortly) and IMO I would of loved to get this very same profile to replace my crown as I think this shape is more suited to my play, genuinely think I jumped the gun to early going for the other one so look out on the for sale page  to help fund getting a new crown by losing one. Although heavier than my usual bat I think it picks up with the counterbalance and shaping of the handle better than the majority of my other bats!

Also, the grains are something else, wasn't expecting a lot or anything but 17 nicely spaced grains (some hugging the edge of the face) on what looks like a half and half split between sapwood and, i'm not going to say heartwood as its more of a slight reddening in comparison to many bats I have seen. A bit of concaving was involved but to be fair its not a lot when there is wood all over the place, its pretty big. More than anything I absolutely love it!! So glad I was one of the fortunate to get this discount and those good chaps at B3 certainly know whats good and how to make a brilliant bat. Came all knocked in so I'll have to report back on tuesday once i've netted with it but from tapping it up it seems as though it is going to go a VERY long way. One very happy customer

I feel sorry for you poor buggers having to wait to use these fine specimens, I'm lucky and that I actually get to use mine in anger tomorrow. Can't wait although a wrist injury may restrict the result somewhat.

I stayed out of this thread for a while as I missed the voucher, envy i guess, but curiosity has got the better of me.

Some lovely looking bats guys. I love my B3 bats and they are way better once played in than photographed.

Last week I lent my Tonto Butterfly out to a Turf A1 lad waiting on me to knock in his other brand bat and he apparently hit his biggest six of the season with it. He loved it too.

That amazed me as my 2 Stripe match bat is even better than that and continues to improve as i play it in. It will take time, but be worth it.

You are all getting a very well made bat that will perform. Kudos to ProCricket and Streaky for answering any questions and all the other lads too.

Just got off the phone with Doctor. Below is what is am going for:

1) 2.10 fully dressed ( including scuff sheet)
2) balance is a must
3) full profile (little bit of concaving is OK for balance, not crazy about edge size )
4) Mid to low sweet spot (front foot drive - air/ground are strengths)
5) round handle
6) Here comes the fun part. Like every one I want a long middle.  Can I get a bat that has mid and mid to low sweet spot?
    So, I decided to go for 1 inch shorter blade with long middle and long handle.

Initially I was thinking of going for shape 14. But, GM mana got me thinking. Can't wait for Doctor to send me the design
