What do you do with you handles to have them how you want them?

Half grips? Extra twine? Medical tape? Lead tape?

Chevron then a thicker octopus-type, hybrid whatever grip on top. I've just got hold of some lead tape, so counterbalanced handles here we come!

Binding removed from handle but not from around bat ears handle thinned and  made round   thin bat repair tape taped tight around handle to stop  handle inserts coming loose not keen on handle flex one GN anti slip grip

I cut up a old grip and put that around the top to the handle so it is really thick so it stops me holding the handle to high and a tiny bit of counter balance

Black or white or Orange grip - GM Ripple ones

Twine removed - 2 layers of medical tape applied to the handle (Starting from top of handle all the way down to the shoulders and then back up again similar to putting a grip on badminton or tennis racket) and then 2 coats of Glue to harden the tape.

I like the feel and handle definitely feels stiffer. This is now with @i12breakfree so we can get an unbiased opinion

I have been using my slasher's handle to experiment. I removed the binding, glued .7 mm thin strips of tightly wrapped eva foam around the handle with polyurethane glue and binded over the top as tight as possible with thicker 12 ply twine. Wrapped the binding with paint protection film.

My anti shock thicker handle.  It does it's job. Little too well. It will come off soon. Lol



Serious question on handle construction:

Who knows whether cork or rubber inserts are better that the other? What is the difference in feel, longevity etc. I noticed a CA with 5 rubber inserts recently.

Rubber is better at absorbing shock.

You could try Winn Grip Overwrap for a slight cushioning effect.
