No warm ups. Most of the squad was still in the T20 series against India on Sunday. No complaints though we got humped.

Australia have decided to give Shaun Marsh another go in the ODI series in place of the injured Aaron Finch. Seems stupid that Usman Khawaja is overlooked.

It's funny how in the BBL Mark Waugh kept barking on about "Khawaja is batting better than Lara, better than anyone probably, now or at any time. He has to be, because you can't bat any better than this." (probably was referring to Lara's hopeless t20 career), yet can't make it into this side.

Mark Waugh owns a stake in the Thunder so he'll always big up his own players. But Khawaja's form almost demands selection now that Finch is injured

Stonis is a batsman who bowls a bit. Not a proper all rounder like Faulkner. Surprised Watson was given another go TBH

You are right .. Given his innings in the last T20 game against India, i expected Watto to get a callback. He might have been a more equal replacement for Faulkner.

Zampa has the potential to become an all rounder probably the reason he's getting a chance in the ODIs
