I saw this last night and I can't believe the Smith's/Hazelwoods stupidity. Quite clearly there was a reason it wasn't out and I'm sure the umpire would of told them he hit it! I think the kiwi commentators were as confused as me as to why the Australians were chuntering.

Seen it before from smith, he set's a horrible example on the field. Always quick to chuck the toys out of the pram. How are you suppose to set an example?

Smith has a petulant face, it looks ready to crumple up, go red and start squabbling. Ponting had it too - maybe it's an Aussie thing, they look like angry teddy-bears (or perhaps Koalas).

Mind you - that's still preferable to looking like an angry Nasser Hussain!

What on earth was that from Smith.
It was like a forehand tennis shot for 4 (described on commentary as an upside down drive).

The bloke may be a gormless looking bellend, and his technique is nothing like textbook, but he certainly can hit the ball!

Well Smiffffy deciding to finish it before lunch was a great plan.
Claim the extra 4 overs, indirectly leading to Burns being dismissed playing an agricultural swipe, and still having to bat again after the lunch interval. Great work, Steve...

There it is, 7-wicket win and 2-0 series victory for the Aussies. Once again the Kiwis talked a good game but just like the World Cup final last year, failed to deliver when it mattered.
