Are you serious?? Did you watch Jordan bowl?? I don't think he bowled a good ball, just happens that batsmen hit it to fielders or chopped on.. Hardly 'brilliant'

Load of tosh he bowled well in truth we did not get enough runs and fielded very averagely then the man Morris smoked it..

12 dotball's suggest he bowled ok pal.

Morris is in form atm. He's bowling with good pace as well. Do you think maybe Ali was introduced a little late ? Especially with Duminy, rossouw and miller coming in a row together.

maybe i just think 130 odd was gonna be a big ask and to get it that close was a very good effort.

We batted poorly thought we bowled agree with others REF Willey batting too low i think he should be ahead of Jordan and Rashid, but better qualified people have him there...

Chances did not quite go to hand so to speak rub of the green stuff..

And Morris, but that Rabada is some find...

Good summary guys, saved me having to wade through the match reports later, someone should suggest this to cricinfo as an alternate commentary :D

Agree with that procricketB3. I fear that Willey almost falls into the Dawson trap as in Bayliss hasn't seen an awful lot of him as such. I think England almost tried to over hit the ball at times especially Root it looked like he tried to muscle the ball when his trickery could have been more handy. Rashid I think bowls too fast in international cricket. It was a big ask but it was one those pitches that you cash in heavily on the new ball because the older the ball got the more it held up. You look at the dismissals a lot of signs of slow pitch e.g. Amla.

As I said earlier it looked like root was batting in that way because he'd been told "keep the rate up". When merely knocking ones and twos to get hales on strike would be better served.

IMO, Root is a traditional batsman and today his role would have been better served with ones and twos which perfectly suits his style of play. He would have done that perfectly and let Hales go blazing. Wondering who asked Root to slog ...

If that's the case and England want to attack nonstop then you can't select him. It was mentioned in commentary that they thought he was in the side incase a quick wicket fell to sure things up but surely that's a negative selection then if that's their thought process. If England are going well which they were buttler or stokes should have gone in and use root when those wickets were tumbling.

Not sure the point of dropping Wiley and playing billings. Is there a need to strengthen the batting? If your top 6 can't do it then what's the point adding another batsman.

I'm glad that billings has got a game but why drop Willey!!

I'm guessing bayliss's really doesn't rate him. Domestic t20 tons and bats at 10 and dropped from both odi and t20 teams this winter without actually doing much wrong.

Drop Ali!!!!

Willey doesn't cut it at international level. He's Birmingham barely 130kph. His batting is basically just a wild slog to leg. Topley, aside from the error in the last match, has shown he's comfortably the better left arm bowler.

Roy dropped first ball. England still going for the all out batting attack.

Good bounce from rabada ball 2! I like this guy.

Roy batting dreadfully. Hoping Billings gets a shot up the order today.
