Jordan doesn't have the bowling control or hitting ability to play T20 at highest level. Stokes can't be relied on to be a front line T20 bowler. Roy and Morgan are streak players and you cant gamble with 1/3 of your batters being off form for a few matches. Too many average fielders.

Other than that we're looking good for World Cup. Wouldn't be surprised to see Vince and Dawson start in India. They're having a good tour.

It's 2020... Enjoy when it goes well and enjoy when it goes pear shaped. That's why this format is more for the hitter, hit and miss players

Can someone please enlighten me as to why England persist with these batsman who own a pair of keeping gloves rather than an actual wicket keeper...

If Topley, Jordan, Willey and Stokes are the pace bowlers we are taking to the world cup then we're all doomed.

Modern cricket doesn't demand proper keepers. Batters who can do a job are the name of the game.

I'm gonna go make my roast dinner and get ready for Chelsea/City. Hope Bayliss just works on fielding almost exclusively for 3 weeks, for me it's been the main component as to why we've lost the white ball games we have...

Fair play to the Saffers mind.

Modern cricket is all the worse for it then!
Plenty of missed chances and some glovework that wouldn't look out of place on a village green (nor would England's bowling today, mind you...)

And when we beat Sri Lanka and Pakistan this summer will hold all test trophies available to us? That includes the ashes... Better than a side full of flat track bullies
