That was a little close!!  :(
Lucky to get away with that very below standard performance.
We have to learn from these scrapes at some point. I reckon Sri Lanka may be ensuring that their team are loaded with spinners after that!

Haven't been too impressed with Ben Stokes so far, not really produced with either bat or ball and would have been punished by a better team today. Hope there's some improvement in the next few games.

When stokes got out earlier. I did think, is he doing anything in side currently?

As a great allrounder on the test stage, could t20s be a time to rest him?

England won't, we've always liked allrounder, with hales bowling I tests there's days.......... I count our t20 side as 11 batsmen 8 bowlers and a stumper.
Only hales and Roy don't do two things!!

Even billings stumps and bats....

In my opinion great would be under selling Kallis, but then I'd be getting hung up on the chose of word. And although it's what cbf is good at. I'll avoid a petty argumen this time. .

Boo.  :D

I think we're all a little agitated after being starved of Cricket chat for a few days.

Back on to the game though. "Doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile"

As stated in Jordan puma thread currently Jordan is a better t20 all rounder than stokes

It might matter if it comes down to net run rate :)

Well if you really want to go there, Kallis doesn't belong in the 'great allrounder' category ;) Not that that's a slight on him mind, there's only been about 3 of those.

Don't see Luke Wright bowling much these days... or scoring any international runs!
